A series of 4 sculptures utilising the process of forged mild steel. The composition of two abstract figures is continually expressed. The subject matter being a fascination between positive and negative space through the creation of abstract forms.

A tapered steel form sits horizontally, bowed and raised up on a base. The tapered form is forged from one piece of steel tapering in 2 directions to allow for an interesting profile and a flat area for the candles to sit. It is then carefully hammered by hand to create the 'bow' or 'banana' shape. Playing with the idea of balanced forms and inspired by Harry Bertoai's metalwork. The profile is an abstract form, being hand beaten giving the shape 'energy' and 'movement'. The triptych candle setting out contrasts with the organic form of the metal. 3 candles emit a good amount of light making this an excellent centre piece. Perfect for large dining tables or side tables/mantels.

Limited edition and handmade Pleated Fan Light. The pleated linen splays out to create a fan or shell-like form. The white linen gives the light a soft glow and the delicate shape of the light is carefully fitted around a brushed stainless steel armature that holds each pleat in position. The simple geometric pleats are formed into an elliptical profile at the top of the sconce.
This is a versatile design that provides understated elegance and elevates the ambience of any room.
A brushed stainless steel backplate (only visible at the top) provides a very high quality finish to the fixture.
Raw cast aluminium, formed into a geometric column. Ridged textured sides contrast against the smooth front profile and cream coloured necks lead to matte opal globes.
A cylinder of Japanese washi paper with a homogenous glow can be raised up and down using a counterweighted system. The raw aluminium tubes have been rolled into ‘U’ shapes to allow free flowing movement.

Inspired by Japanese shoji screens this minimal sconce has an intricate framework of solid oak and washi paper. Diffused light is emitted through the paper creating a delicate glow much like a window at night.

The Tower floor lamp V2 is a One-off design by Louis Jobst. It has an asymmetric solid oak base made up from harmonised geometric forms with a Terracotta finish. The design echoes postmodernist, Memphis design with multiple bulbs and bold shapes and colour. The multifaceted base has three Tala bulbs in matte, opal glass that are elegantly positioned on the side of the luminaire. The floor lamp also has a handmade frosted shade forming the pinnacle of the light which was inspired by the lights at the top of skyscrapers. Its base can be turned to provide different silhouettes and configurations of form. It has an inline dimmer switch to create the perfect glow.

Limited edition handmade Pleated Wall Light. The white linen gives the light a soft glow and the delicate shape of the light is carefully fitted around a brushed stainless steel armature that holds each pleat in position. The simple geometric pleats are formed into a 'D' profile at the top and bottom of the sconce.
This versatile light provides understated elegance and elevates the ambience of any room.

Forged steel candleholder inspired by Alberto Giacometti. Three shapes stand on top of a plinth with legs. The plinth is formed from eroded steel, then forged giving it a specific pitted texture. The shapes/figures are abstract in form, they are hand beaten giving the shapes 'energy' and 'movement'. Perfect for large dining tables or side tables/mantels.

The Ridge Lamps create striking silhouettes that echo early 20th century design and sculpture. The geometric form of the oak base is contrasted with a smooth face and a ridged textured surface. The oak has been ebonised using a technique that reacts with the tannin in the oak creating the dark surface. The refined element of the oak is contrasted by the solid limestone block and the textured linen shade.

The Monument Lamp V2 is handmade in Jobst’ studio in east London. Jobst’ research into historical monuments and their relationship to geometry sparked inspiration for the design. The geometric stone is cast from Jesmonite and fits precisely into the steel base creating the perfect unison and contrast between each element. The rough textural surface and geometric shapes resemble the surface quality and appearance of a monument. Precedents include Art Deco and Bauhaus eras interpreted through the clean lines and rounded edges of the design.

The Tower Floor Lamp has an asymmetric base made up from harmonised geometric forms. This is contrasted with a lightweight cylindrical shade that emits a perfect dimmable glow with gold and silver flecks. The multifaceted base is contrasted with the cylindrical shade striking a balance between the two volumes. Its base can be turned to provide different silhouettes and configurations of form. It has a handmade brass dimmer switch located under the shade to create the perfect glow. Tower Floor Lamp can be used in a variation of spaces due to its muted tones, clean lines and contemporary design.

The Eye Pendant is a graceful swooping sculpture that creates a surreal and striking visual as it suspends. The tapering maple eye lid provides many shapes and forms due to its profile. The thermoformed acrylic acts as a prism reflecting its surroundings. Whilst the matte glass globe, consistent in form, provides a strong yet diffused glow. All components are handmade/formed.

Louis Jobst' arch and ball extra large candleholders are little monuments to have in the home. The form derives from paintings by Jobst of monumental shapes and forms.
Each candle stick holder is handmade from mild steel and patinated black. The contemporary form works in any modern or classical space.

Inspired by architectural features such as archways and pediments. U Lamps are composed of simple geometric forms - an arch, a sphere and a cone. Playing with the concept of stacked shapes, the sphere seems to precariously balance upon the arch and support the cone shade above. Establishing an architecturally animated design. The arched base is made from steel with a matte black patina. This contrasts with the brass sphere. Whilst the soft linen shade creates a glowing ambient light. The U Lamp creates a sculptural focal point for any contemporary interior.

The V lamp presents itself as a unique equilibrium of forms. The solid glass sphere weighs upon the overturned ‘V’ creating a pedestal of harmonised contrasting components. This piece creates a sophisticated focal point with its distinctive and original design. The ebonised oak, clear glass and spun brass enrich the composition with calm, natural tones and finishes. The brass shade directs an ambient light upon the reflective surface of the glass sphere, contrasted against the matte black base.

The Monument Lamps iconic geometric forms are handmade using solid steel and stone with mouth blown glass. The bases are cut from steel billet and patinated black. Markings from the cutting process are intentionally left visible exposing the character and sheer mass of the material. Three different stones Carrara marble, Roman Travertine and Luna Pearl granite slot into the steel bases. The glass diffuser is mouth blown with a matt finish and contains a warm glowing light source.
